Boarding your pet
with us: We provide safe and cozy boarding for cats
and for dogs who are here for short stays or who need medical care
while their owners are away. Each pet is given a secure, enclosed space
with his or her own soft towel to lie on which is cleaned twice a day. We encourage owners to bring something from home with familiar scents. Every pet is fed twice a day (unless otherwise instructed) and dogs are walked twice a day as well. Any medication required by your pet is administered as prescribed, diabetic dogs and cats regularly receive their insulin injections, and animals needing fluid therapy are kept on schedule.
Requirements for boarding:
- Rabbits: Annual exam
- Cats: Annual exam, Rabies and FVRCP
vaccinations
- Dogs: Annual exam, Rabies, DHPP, and
Bordetella vaccinations
Extended boarding for you dog: If you have a dog and are
planning to board him for an extended period of time, we recommend
a kennel that offers a more spacious and entertaining boarding experience. Dr. Campbell helps provide medical care for a wonderful dog boarding kennel and day care facility in Park Slope Brooklyn. The 6000 square foot space has separate indoor dog runs for small and large breed dogs. The dog visitors romp with their new dog friends in supervised, safe play during the day. The dogs are individually kennelled for sleeping and eating, and come home happy and tired! Pick up from Symphony Vet is available for dogs staying one week or longer.
